Mike Greenberg is a Toronto-based, Red Seal certified chef with over twenty years experience working in diverse culinary roles and kitchen environments. Mike’s career as a chef began with training in Italy, Belgium, and Ottawa while completing a Bachelor of Arts degree at Carleton University. Since then, he has returned to his hometown of Toronto to work as a chef, specializing in butchery and classic French cuisine. He launched Monte Verde Foods Inc., which has enabled him to pursue recipe development and consult on culinary projects for restaurant and corporate clients. Through Monte Verde Foods Inc., Mike works closely with local farmers and suppliers to create recipes and products using southern Ontario’s finest ingredients. He hopes to contribute to the culinary evolution of Toronto by combining these local ingredients with Toronto’s diverse cuisines from around the world.
